Download for Windows
Scan and preview for free. Nothing is written to the drive you're recovering from.
You will be asked for administrator rights — raw disk access requires them.
Before you install
Do not install recovery software on the disk you are trying to recover. Every byte written to that drive reduces what can still be saved. Install on a working system and connect the affected drive externally, or run from a bootable environment.
If the drive is failing, image it first. Use the built-in disk imaging feature, then run your recovery against the image. That way a drive that dies mid-scan doesn't take your data with it.
System requirements
- Windows 7 SP1, 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Administrator rights to run
- Around 50 MB of free space for the program
- Additional free space on a separate drive for recovered files
- Internet connection for download and (optionally) activation
Installation
- Download the installer and run it.
- Accept the User Account Control prompt.
- Choose an install location on a working drive — not the affected one.
- Launch the program; it will show your disks and partitions automatically.
Verifying your download
SHA-256 checksums are published with each release on the support page, so you can confirm the file arrived intact.
